On joining us you will participate in a structured induction programme, which will include formal on-the job training as well as visits to the service and an introduction to key staff and managers.
An induction programme will take place within twelve weeks of commencing appointment, and further skills training within the first six months. This induction and skills training will include training on the principles of care, safe working practices, the organisation and worker role, the experience and particular needs of the service user group and the influences and particular requirements of the service setting.
