Helping residents to lead an active life included as a member of the local community is integral to our care approach. Participation in the normal activities of life including practicing their faith and enrolling in community courses are just a few of the ways in which residents are supported.
Where residents are interested but lack the confidence or opportunity to participate in the community we create individual activity programmes having completed a risk assessment and consulted with parents, carers and key professionals to ensure that all activities offer as appropriate.
Regardless of anyone’s disability we aim for them to enjoy a fulfilling, interesting and varied social and community life.
